Arbitration.ru – the new magazine on international arbitration

In August 2018, the Arbitration Association launched a new magazine on international arbitration, Arbitration.ru. Over half a year, the magazine has evolved from a concept into a landmark journal in the the professional field, and received a very warm welcome in arbitration circles from Moscow, Russia, to Vancouver, Canada.

Arbitration.ru is a monthly publication distributed electronically. A printed version is prepared for special events like the signature ceremony of the Prague Rules or the Arbitration Association Annual conference. 

The Russian section of the magazine is aimed at arbitration professionals and features  in-depth coverage and news on the current state of arbitration scene in the country. Over last six issues, authors from the law-firms – rainmakers in Russian domestic and international arbitration and litigation, such as Baker McKenzie, KIAP, EPAM, Mansors, and others contributed to the Russian section of the magazine, making it a professional, sharp and high-quality read. The magazine attracts student volunteering authors, whose review of national judicial decisions on enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, amendments to Russian arbitration laws and other hot topics match professional reviews prepared by Russian national and even foreign legal news services.

The English section of the magazine features arbitration news of international significance and landmark decisions of ICC, PCA, LCIA, EWHC, ECJ as well as supreme courts of Russia, France, Switzerland. Prominent arbitration practitioners such as Gary Born, Christer Söderlund and first persons from renown international arbitration institutions such as SCC and HKIAC gave interview to our authors and editorial team. For those interested in arbitration in the CIS countries, the magazine offers reviews on legislation in Kazakhstan, Belarus, the Ukraine.

The magazine offers opportunities for targeted advertising on its pages, where law firms, arbitrators, experts, translators, forensic and financial experts and other arbitration professionals can market their services in stylish and appropriate manner. The purpose of the magazine is to create a modern ecosystem for comprehensible and easy exchange of opinion on international arbitration.
