Mr Emmanuel Jolivet, General Counsel of the International Chamber of Commerce® and of the International Court of Arbitration®, is responsible for advising ICC, its affiliates and the Court on legal matters. He serves as board member and officer of various companies in France and abroad. Mr Jolivet is a board member of the French Society of Comparative Legislation. Mr Jolivet teaches regularly at universities and law faculties, and was Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Versailles (Paris Saclay) for 9 years. In addition to having lectured in more than 20 countries he is the author of numerous articles on dispute resolution and business law. He is Deputy Director of the ICC Dispute Resolution Bulletin. Mr Jolivet is a French citizen and a lawyer by training. He holds a PhD in private law and speaks French and English.
